Birthing the Impossible

The Maroc Premium Foundation announces the 6th edition of the Casablanca International Biennale of Contemporary Art, to be held from December 11, 2025, to January 10, 2026. Framed by the evocative theme Birthing the Impossible, this edition promises a bold exploration of artistic innovation in the face of contemporary challenges.

Curated by internationally acclaimed curator Marisa Caichiolo, known for her work at the crossroads of visual arts and social transformation, the Biennale will question art’s capacity to transcend the constraints of our era. As Hannah Arendt reminds us, “the new always appears in the guise of a miracle.” It is this very notion—of renewal, unpredictability, and miracle—that the Biennale seeks to embody.

Now more than ever, the Casablanca International Biennale affirms its role as a crossroads for intercultural dialogue, illuminating the creativity, resilience, and plurality of contemporary artistic languages. From December 11, 2025, audiences will be invited to discover works that not only resonate with our time but also open new perspectives on the role of art amid global uncertainty and transformation.
